Our journey began back in 1998, when my father, Dimitris Katsaris, bought his first coach bus. At the time, he had already been working as a professional driver for years. He wasn’t looking to start a company—he just wanted to be his own boss and do what he loved: driving and meeting people from all over the world.

It started small—mainly transfers and charter trips around Greece. But my father’s down-to-earth approach, reliability, and respect for passengers slowly built a solid reputation. People liked traveling with him because he was steady, honest, and always on time. Nothing flashy—just real, dependable service.

Growing up, I spent a lot of time around the bus. I saw how important it was to treat travelers not just as customers, but as guests. Eventually, I got involved in the industry myself. Over the years, I gained my own experience, and when the time was right, I decided to take things a step further.

That’s how The Briny Blue was created: to offer not just transportation, but full travel services—organized, reliable, and always personal. It’s still a family business, and we’re proud to carry that sense of care and responsibility into everything we do.
